What is HIRONEN?
(What does HIRONEN stand for?)
In 1927, Choji Fujiwara, the founder of Hironen, started a yarn agency, Hiroshima Nenshi Shokai, which took its name after that of the Hiroshima Nenshi Factory located next to the Teijin Hiroshima plant. In 1930, Choji Fujiwara established Fukui Hironen Shokai in Fukui City; later it became Hironen Co., Ltd.

Who we are
Flexible and Powerful
The Hokuriku area including Fukui is known for its textile production expertise, especially relating to synthetic filament yarns. In this industry, Hironen has been regarded as a "Sanmoto", which has a function of coordinating textile production and the distribution. Originally, it started as an agency for the principal fiber makers who tried to distribute their materials to mills in Hokuriku. Now, Hironen acts as a material agency and principally as a textile supplier-- developing, manufacturing, and distributing our own textiles.

In the Hokuriku area and throughout a global network, we have a varied line of materials and flexible manufacturing systems in order to meet endless market demands. Additionally, our textiles have been exported to many foreign countries for several years.

Twisting Yarns
Wide range of materials
From synthetics, polyester, nylon, and spandex to man-made fibers, acetate, rayon, and tri-acetate, we use a wide range of filament yarns for our textiles. We use synthetics and man-made fibers as well as natural fibers and some cellulose-spun yarns for mixed material textiles.

Quality is our job
Japanese quality
Our history is also a history of collaboration with major Japanese fiber makers. We have long experience in making synthetic textiles and we are accustomed to meeting strict quality criteria and cost reduction requirements.

Our home FUKUI
Hi-touch and Hi- functional fabrics
In the production of "Shin-gosen (New polyester)" which includes microfibers, we have developed mixed textiles, such as tri-acetate, acetate, rayon, cotton, wool, silk and many more. We are always looking for new touches and hands of textiles.

Marketing activities
Since we deal directly with apparel companies, we are creating a new business model. We believe our production flexibility and wide range of textiles will satisfy any demand.

Acting globally
Many of our textiles have been exported and used in many countries such as in the USA, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and so on. Our staff travels all over the world and listens to customers' needs in order to provide the best possible service.

Not only for women's fashion
Historically, our textiles have mainly been used in the women's clothing market. But recently, due to evolving lifestyle and fashion trends, our market is spreading to men's clothing and casual sports wear. In addition, we are promoting textiles for building interiors and fashion accessories, such as bags.
